RECALLCHEK
What is RecallChek?
RecallChek is a recall reporting service for home appliances, water heaters, furnaces, and air conditioners. Milepost Home Inspection provides this FREE with most home inspections. How does it work?
This Inspector will collect model and serial numbers from the appliances and equipment in the home (if they are present, accessible, and visible) the submit that information to RecallChek. You will receive an email a few days later indicating whether or not there are any open recalls on any of those items. If any open recalls are shown, you may contact the manufacturer – they should offer you a free in-home repair (or maybe even replacement!).

BUYERS INSPECTION
This is the typical inspection performed for a potential home buyer during the option period as part of the home buying process.
Every Buyers Inspection includes the following, if present in the home:
- Structural Systems (Foundations, Grading and Drainage, Roof Covering Materials, Roof Structure and Attics, Walls, Ceilings and Floors, Doors, Windows, Stairways, Fireplace and Chimneys, Porches Balconies Decks and Carports)
- Electrical Systems
- Heating, Venting, and Air-Conditioning Systems
- Plumbing System
- Appliances
- Landscape Irrigation (Sprinkler) Systems
- Written report delivered in PDF format, typically within 24 hours
Inspection of the following items is not provided by Milepost Home Inspection but can be arranged, for additional fees:
- Termite or Wood-Destroying Insect Inspection
- Swimming Pools, Spas, Hot Tubs and Equipment
- Outbuildings (other than Garage)
- Private Water Wells
- Private Sewage Disposal (Septic) Systems

PRE-LISTING INSPECTION
Are you planning to sell your home? Are you concerned about what a buyers home inspector might find? We will perform the same services included in a Buyers Inspection, before you put your home on the market. This gives you a chance to make repairs prior to listing the home for sale so you can avoid surprises after your home is under contract to sell.

RE-INSPECTION
Did you hire us for a Buyers Inspection then negotiate repairs with the Seller? Did you buy the home then do some of the repairs indicated on the inspection report? We can re-inspect a home that we inspected within the last six months, looking only at the specific components and systems that were repaired.

HOMEOWNERS INSPECTION
Do you have questions about the safety and performance of the components and systems in your home? A Homeowners Inspection consists of the same services included in a Buyers Inspection. Our inspector will perform the inspection, provide a written report, and discuss the findings with you.

RENOVATION INSPECTION
Are you thinking of renovating your home? Are you concerned about unexpected expenses during the project? A home inspection before you start renovations can help identify systems and components that should be updated during the construction process. A Pre-Renovation Inspection consists of the same services included in a Buyers Inspection.
Do you wonder if your contractor has done the work properly? We can be an independent third-party reviewing the contractor’s work for you before you make final acceptance.

SINGLE SYSTEM INSPECTION
Do you want an independent opinion about one component or system? Whether it’s the roof covering, heating and air-conditioning, or another system .. we can inspect that particular system. We are not trying to sell repairs and will provide unbiased information for you.
