RECALLCHEK

RecallChek is a recall reporting service for home appliances, water heaters, furnaces, and air conditioners. Milepost Home Inspection provides this FREE with most home inspections. How does it work?

The Inspector will collect model and serial numbers from the appliances and equipment in the home (if they are present, accessible, and visible) then submit that information to RecallChek. You, will receive an email a few days later indicating whether or not there are any open recalls on any of those items. If any open recalls are shown, you may contact the manufacturer – they should offer you a free in-home repair (or maybe even replacement!).
